 VIRGINITY OR DEATH
A small gallery in Guadalajara invited me to submit photographs for exhibitions in November, on the theme of Death, and in December, on the theme of Virginity. The themes are not uncommon in Mexico, where the Day of the Dead in November brings families together to decorate the graves of loved ones and spend the evening or all night there with food and conversation; and December brings the festivals of the Blessed Virgin.
These are the images I chose. You may decide to which theme each photograph relates. (view)

A book of images that have great personal meaning for me, with extensive captions that would be of interest only to family and close friends. For this display I have selected fifty images from the book that may have photographic interest without my story, and given them minimum captions. ( view)
